Brilliant started in Camden Town Market in London during the late 70's just as the Punk Rock movement was changing to New Wave. Musicians frequented the market such as Mark Almond, Boy George, Marilyn, Jimmy Somerville and a host of others which Brilliant was priviledged to serve. At that time we were selling vintage clothing and supplied many films and television series including Tenko, Shine on Harvey Moon and Mountbatten the Viceroy. Brilliant soon had a following in the film, music and TV world.

Over the years whilst changing direction we have supplied jewellery and goods for the 80's group Big Country, David Soul (alias Hutch of Starsky and Hutch), and more recently Native American Indian Jewellery through our sister company Hunting Bear to the BBC for Auf Wiedersehn Pet. Brilliant has also supplied beaded curtains for The Bill, Coronation Street, Changing Rooms and the last James Bond film Quantum of Solace.

Beaded curtains by Brilliant have recently be used in the VIP areas in Liquid nightclubs throughout the UK, and are currently being featured in a new design book by the much acclaimed interior designer Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen.
